Meet the Teacher

I live on the South Coast of NSW Australia with my husband, new baby and Beagle. I graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Education Primary. I'm currently in my fifth year of teaching and teachYear 6. It is turning out to be an interesting year, juggling work (making the jump from Year 2 to Year 6!) and being a new mother.

I believe being a teacher is a blessing and an honour. As teachers we are entrusted with little individuals, each unique, each a little cheeky and all interested in learning. I enjoy the challenge of making their learning relevant, engaging and fun. Most of all, I set out to equip them with the tools they will need to succeed in life and become the best people they can be.

Being a teacher in the 21st Century allows us to have a multitude of resources at our fingertips. I've found myself spending copious hours trawling teaching blogs, Pinterest and the internet for ideas and resources. So I decided to start my own teaching blog for other addicts like myself who love their job and are eager to see new ideas.

You can purchase some of my resources from my store on Teacher's Pay Teachers
